What I received is not useable. The grill does not work. It hits the top of the base and will not rotate outside the fire area. Hopefully i Will get a replacement without too much trouble

My 32 inch fire ring arrived and was easy to assemble. It is constructed well and looks durable as other reviewers have mentioned. The only improvement could be on the packaging for shipping. Mine arrived loose in a damaged card board box a week after my order as promised. It startled me when I saw the box but thankfully nothing was damaged inside. The product itself is impressive.

I love this fire ring, it let's me go camping in my back yard whenever I want yet I can sleep inside and go to work the next day.
My ring is a favorite with guests, it keeps the party warm (and outside) it provides a focal point, it encourages conversations. It's much better than TV.
My ring was slightly damaged in shipping but outdoorsinessd issued me a partial refund to set things right and all in all I'm very happy. I'm planning on paying a second ring for another spot in the garden.
It's heavy and it's rugged. I plan on this ring lasting a long time. I've noticed a little surface rust but I imagine as it gets used a grill the oils from meals will seal the metal much like a cast iron skillet.
Solid buy all in all. Do yourself a solid and get one.

This insert worked just fine and the size is exactly as stated. I first stacked my bricks and glued them and didn't decide til later to get a insert with a grate. The reason I'm saying this is because this insert has two prongs that stick out in case you want to use it as a standalone pit and would be difficult to insert into already stacked bricks.To keep from breaking the bricks apart to get the inert in, I just hammered the prongs flat. If you don't have something to cut it with, a hammer will work just fine.
