Nice table, but the instructios left something to be desired. It said to use a "cleat" that didn't come with the package. Had to make one. It ended up being a sturdy table, though.

Will be set on outdoor carpet. In my hast to complete I mad a mistake for drill holes for Top by an inch, but I adjusted the seats and everything came together. Be sure to drill holes for seat at 90 deg or you will have to do a little extra filling to get the bolts in. I used un treated Pine wood, 2X10X6ft for seats,1X10 for top & 2X4 for middle brace total cost $51.57 (didn't see the need for 2X10 top and lighter, for me, is better) {I am 76}. I routed seats 1/2" and top 1/4", sanded top with belt sander then coated with 3 coats of Varnish, same for seats. A "Slide-in-Slide-Out" Patio Perfect Table.

I am not much of a handy man but I've always been wanting to have a picnic table. But I couldn't find anything that I could afford. I found this DIY frame kit. . I've gotten three 12' 2x10 cut in half at home depot so I had an extra piece of wood. Good thing I did because I messed one up when making a table. I thought I measured as instructed but wasn't good enough. I've roughened up and got it finished somehow. I'll upload a photo for viewing. Good luck!

Box was beat up in delivery but product was not affected.Economical and sturdy frame for a picnic table.

The instructions should recommend 2x10x6, I had already purchased 2x8x6 and they worked out fine.
