The Eaton CHM1N9N4NS is a factory-wired, ring-type metered surface mount RV power box built for RV parks and campgrounds. It mounts to a 4x4 post, offering a cost-effective alternative to a full pedestal installation. An electric meter is sold separately.

The box is constructed of heavy-gauge steel with a baked-on gray polyester powder coat finish and a NEMA 3R rated enclosure for solid corrosion and weather resistance outdoors. The receptacle door swings up to open and can be locked. The unit ships factory wired and assembled with breakers and receptacles installed. This unit does not have loop-fed lugs.

It ships with a factory-installed pedestal extension and a lay-in ground lug, so it's ready to set and wire on delivery — no separate underground extension purchase required.

The panel is constructed of 100% galvanized steel with a baked-on polyester powder coat finish and a NEMA 3R rated enclosure, giving it solid corrosion and weather resistance for outdoor installation. A top-feed design and hinged deadfront covers make wiring straightforward, while a steel barrier keeps breakers protected from unauthorized access when the door is closed and padlocked.

About Log Checking

Small surface cracks (checks) naturally appear as the wood dries. This is a normal characteristic of solid log construction and does not affect structural integrity or load capacity.
